 | David Fineshot the role of Baranski on "Burn Notice" on location in Miami Beach and also played the role of Jerry Weir(d) in Ray Kurzweil's docudrama "Singularity is Near." David also completed a role in Josh Harris SAG feature "No Ambition." 'David's 40-min short that is a work in progress feature, entitled "The Red Door," by sundance vet Jason Bognacki, screens at the LA Downtown Film Festival at the Laemmle Grande on Figueroa St. on August 16 and his 40-minute short "The Strange Case of Salman Abd Al Haqq" screens in August at well at the Action on Film Festival in Pasadena. | Lin Shukla had two projects screen at festivals and both were booked through Casting Connection! "Harrison Montgomery," starring Martin Landau was shown at HBO's N.Y. Int'l Latino Film Festival. Lin also co-stars in "Like Lightning," which was featured at the Action-On-Film (AOF) Int'l Film Festival in Pasadena."Like Lightning's" director, Darwin Meiners first found Lin through Casting Connection and has additionally cast her in his feature "Fairfield, Idaho," which was nominated for two awards at the AOF Fest last year."Casting Connection has absolutely been my primary source of work over the last few years.  | Congratulations to Mackenzie Firgens!She just wrapped three projects: An action film called "Break" with Michael Madsen ("Kill Bill 1&2"); a comedy with Louis Mandalyor ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding") and the legendary Mickey Rooney, now in post-production; and she also just wrapped a pilot called "Humanzee" for XBOX directed by James Gunn ("Slither"). Brava Mackenzie!!
"Break" is screening at Action on Film Int'l Film Festival Tuesday, July 29th @ 6pm and at West Hollywood Int'l Film Festival Thursday, July 31st @ 7pm.

| Sam Roemer recently played the role of Greg in HP Mendoza's latest film called "Fruit Fly." "It's a musical so you will see us dancing and singing and having a blast. It's by far the best role I have played to date." Look for it in theaters later this year. Sam is also performing in a hip hop dance show called Mission in the Mix produced by local choreographer, Micaya on June 27-29 at Dance Mission Theater in San Francisco.
